My name is Ivanelis, but the children call me Miss Nelly.  I was born, raised and educated in Puerto Rico where I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. I had the opportunity to come to the states in 2007 and I jumped at the chance to start a new adventure in a new place.

I began my career in early education in 2009 at the Dovecrest Montessori Academy where I cared for a mixed age group of toddlers and preschoolers.  In 2013, I joined Little Discoveries and was the lead teacher in the infant room.  My latest employment was at The Learning Well in West Bridgewater. I started there in the toddler room but was soon promoted to Director of the center.  It has been my lifelong dream to own my own family child care; and my employer was wholly supportive of that goal.
